Anti-diet nutrition · Austin + everywhere

I'm Maya — a registered dietitian who will never hand you a meal plan and call it healing. We rebuild your relationship with food so eating gets to be easy, joyful, and yours again.

The first few steps

How this actually goes.

No before-and-afters. No food rules. Here's the real arc of the work.

Step 01

We talk. Like humans.

A free 20-minute call — your history with food, what you've tried, what you're done with. If I'm not your person, I'll say so and point you to someone who is.

Step 02

We find your patterns.

First sessions map the whole picture: your body's signals, the diet rules still living rent-free in your head, and what 'good' would actually feel like for you.

Step 03

We practice, not perform.

Weekly or biweekly sessions with real experiments between them. Progress looks like quieter food noise, more energy, and meals that don't need a verdict.

About

Hi, I'm Maya

Registered dietitian, recovering perfectionist, and firm believer that you can't hate yourself into a body you love. I spent years watching smart people blame themselves for diets designed to fail them — so I built a practice that does the opposite. Science-backed, weight-inclusive, zero shame.

In their words

Real people. Real plates. Real quiet.

I came in asking for a meal plan. Maya gave me something better: I eat lunch now without grading myself. My brain is so much quieter.
Dani, 27 · The Reset · 12 weeks
Fifteen years of diets and this is the first time food feels boring — in the best way. It's just food now. I cried when I realized that.
Sam, 34 · 1:1 coaching · 6 months
Her blog got me here, her actual voice kept me here. Zero preach, all practice. I've sent three friends already.
